RHFRHF Impact Landscape

ResearchHub Foundation Impact MCP

MCP Server for Research Workflows & Science Radar

Give a compatible agent a governed, read-only way to load the latest reviewed research workflows, including manuscript editorial review and proposal assessment, alongside the latest public Science Radar snapshot and its retained source links.

Load the latest workflow

get_impact_catalog or impact://skills/catalog identifies the active reviewed skills. Read the selected SKILL.md before doing the task.

Start from the live Radar catalogue

get_radar_snapshot_catalog identifies the active public Radar version, its generation time, and full-history signal count.

Search public signals

search_trending_science finds public signals by lexical topic query. Treat its results as candidates for review.

Read source-linked detail

get_trending_science_signal retrieves one public signal and its retained source links for evidence review.

Run the latest reviewed workflow

Give this instruction to a compatible harness after connecting the server. The active corpus—not a hard-coded skill version—is authoritative.

Connect to https://mcp.researchhub.foundation/mcp. Read the active workflow catalogue, select the reviewed skill relevant to my task, read its complete SKILL.md, and follow it. Prefer impact://skills/{skill_id}/SKILL.md; if MCP resources are unsupported, use get_impact_record with the listed skill document_id. Keep my private documents inside this harness and use Impact MCP only for public guidance and public records.

For manuscripts use manuscript-editorial-review. For scored proposal review use proposal-assessment; use proposal-readiness for an earlier preparation check.

Useful science-agent workflows

Impact MCP is most useful when a question needs a repeatable, source-linked public-signal discovery step. It does not replace primary-source review or domain judgment.

Connect without a key

Impact MCP uses public Streamable HTTP for its bounded public projection. No API key or Authorization header is needed.

url = "https://mcp.researchhub.foundation/mcp"

Initialize the connection, read the active workflow catalogue before workflow-led tasks, and call get_radar_snapshot_catalog before making any claim about the current Radar.

Public-data boundary

Public access does not grant database, account, infrastructure, or service-administration access. Records classified as internal confidential are excluded from catalog counts, workflow discovery, search, and retrieval.

The full public setup guide is available at /impact-mcp-agents.md. A compatible A2A client can also retrieve the public discovery card at /.well-known/agent-card.json; that agent returns guidance only.

Public Radar and MCP access

Anyone can browse the Latest Science Radar or connect an MCP client without a key. MCP exposes only the published public projection; it does not grant access to private source captures, internal-confidential records, operational metadata, account data, or service administration.
